Project Overview
Doctors of Peace, in collaboration with Liebe im Karton e.V. Germany, conducted a food distribution campaign for vulnerable families in Sinjar, assisting 140 families across Talazer sub-district, Sardashti IDP camp, and Sinjar city.
Objectives
– Alleviate Hunger: Address food insecurity.
– Reintegration Support: Help returnees rebuild their lives.
– Humanitarian Day Outreach: Aid the most vulnerable on World Humanitarian Day.
Project Phases
– Talazer Sub-district (Aug 16, 2023): 100 families received food baskets.
– Sardashti IDP Camp & Sinjar City (Aug 19, 2023): 40 families helped on World Humanitarian Day.
